SCHOOL CLOSED: Monday, November 11, 2024 in honor of Veterans' Day
Founded with a commitment to excellence and community, P.S. 6 Norma Adams Clemons Academy has been a cornerstone of the Flatbush neighborhood for many years. Named in honor of the beloved founding principal, our school is deeply rooted in the values of inclusivity, respect, and lifelong learning. Serving students from 3-K to 5th grade, we take pride in our diverse and dynamic student body, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of Brooklyn.
At P.S. 6, we believe that every child deserves a strong educational foundation. Our history is one of continuous growth and adaptation to meet the needs of our students and community. As we look to the future, we remain dedicated to educating the whole child; fostering an environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
We invite you to become part of our story as we continue to build a brighter future together.
P.S. 6 is a multi-cultural community dedicated to educating the whole child. We nurture the creativity, talents, and abilities of all children to maximize their academic achievements in a rigorous standards-based environment.
The vision of P.S. 6 is to support the Whole Child:
Academically
Socially and emotionally
Through collaborative and culturally responsive education
In an inclusive and safe environment
